Optometrist Check-Up

An optometrist check-up helps assess both your visual acuity and the overall health of your eyes. During the appointment, the optometrist checks whether your vision has changed and measures intraocular pressure to help prevent possible eye diseases.

Regular vision check-ups help detect early changes and support the long-term health of your eyes.

Vision Check and Evaluation of Changes

The optometrist checks visual acuity and evaluates whether there have been changes compared to previous results. Changes in vision can develop gradually and may cause:

  • blurred vision
  • eye fatigue
  • headaches
  • difficulty reading or working on a computer

Regular check-ups help detect these changes in time. If necessary, the patient may be referred to an ophthalmologist for further examination.

Measurement of Eye Pressure

Checking eye pressure is important for assessing the risk of glaucoma. Elevated eye pressure can damage the optic nerve without early symptoms.

Measuring eye pressure is:

  • quick and painless
  • suitable as a preventive check
  • especially recommended for people over 40
  • important if there is a history of eye disease in the family

What Is Not Included in the Optometrist Check-Up?

Our optometrist does not prescribe eyeglasses. The check-up focuses on monitoring vision changes, assessing visual acuity, and measuring eye pressure.

Who Is the Vision Check Recommended For?

An optometrist check-up is recommended for:

  • adults every 1–2 years
  • people over 40 for regular eye pressure monitoring
  • those experiencing worsening vision
  • those whose eyes become tired quickly

Take care of your eye health proactively. Book an appointment for a vision check and eye pressure measurement. 👁️
