Urologist

Urology is a medical and surgical specialty that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the urinary and reproductive systems in both men and women, as well as disorders of the adrenal glands.
Urological care covers both congenital abnormalities and conditions that develop later in life, such as prostate enlargement, kidney stones, bladder and kidney infections, tumors, and urological injuries.

Urologist Consultation for Men and Women

A urologist (often referred to as a “men’s doctor”) helps address a variety of issues related to men’s health and reproductive system function.

You should see a urologist if you experience:
• Sexual disorders (e.g. erectile dysfunction, decreased libido),
• Sexually transmitted diseases and other infections,
• Inflammations of the reproductive tract,
• Prostate problems (e.g. enlarged prostate, prostatitis),
• Frequent or painful urination,
• Urinary incontinence or other urinary tract symptoms.

Both men and women of all ages are welcome to consult a urologist — including those who simply wish to have a preventive health check.

Examinations and Tests at City Health Clinic

Although our clinic does not perform surgical operations, you can:
• Attend a urology consultation,
• Have an ultrasound examination (e.g. to assess the kidneys, bladder, or prostate),
• Take necessary blood and urine tests, including a PSA test to check prostate health,
• And, on the doctor’s recommendation, undergo cystoscopy — a procedure used to examine the bladder and urethra, allowing early detection of inflammation, tumors, or other abnormalities.

Based on the test results, our urologist will provide a comprehensive overview of your health status and, if necessary, recommend appropriate treatment options or further management.

Why Visit a Urologist?

Early check-ups help prevent more serious problems and ensure that any necessary treatment can begin in time.
If you notice changes in urination, pain or discomfort in the lower abdomen, or if prostate issues run in your family, it’s important to see a urologist.
