I graduated from the University of Tartu Faculty of Medicine in 2018 and then completed the psychiatry residency programme, graduating in 2022. I have worked both in an inpatient psychiatric ward and in outpatient care.
I regularly participate in various training events and conferences — including clinical conferences at Tartu University Hospital Psychiatric Clinic, PERH Psychiatric Clinic autumn conferences and Estonian Psychiatric Association events. During my residency I completed an introductory course in family therapy, basic training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and an introductory course in cognitive behavioural therapy, and I keep up with the specialist literature.
I am particularly interested in mood and anxiety disorders, somatoform disorders, personality disorders and sleep disorders. In my work, good rapport with the patient is what I consider most important. Alongside medication, I value psychosocial treatment and various self-help approaches.
I am a member of the Estonian Psychiatric Association and the Estonian Medical Association.
Outside work, I enjoy music and sport.
