I trained as a midwife at Tallinn Health Care College. I have developed my skills in antenatal and postnatal physiotherapy and in the subject of intimate partner violence, and have completed a Tallinn University conference on the mental health challenges associated with pregnancy and childbirth. What I enjoy most about midwifery is the versatility of the profession and the opportunity to genuinely help people from the heart. At City Tervisekliinik, I see patients for various nursing procedures and also offer midwifery appointments — both within the cervical cancer screening programme and for other questions and concerns — so that we can find the best solutions together.
In my personal life, dance is my great passion — so much so that I graduated from Tallinn University in choreography and have worked as a dancer and dance teacher. Working in two very different roles has enriched me enormously. In my nursing and midwifery practice I carry with me from the dance world a sense of creativity and the ability to approach each person individually and sensitively, building a trusting and supportive space together.
