As a family doctor, I witness the generational continuity of families — in some ways, it is also a mirror of society at that particular moment in time. In my work I aim to explain to people that their health is their own, and only they can take responsibility for it. My role is to be a support along that journey.
My enduring loves and hobbies are choral singing and reading. I return again and again to Ernest Hemingway’s The Sun Also Rises and P. L. Travers’s Mary Poppins.
