Audiometry is designed to determine hearing acuity and diagnose hearing damage.

The Audiometer measures the nature and parameters of hearing – the aim is to help diagnose and investigate diseases and lesions of auditory sense organs, while determining the type and severity of the hearing impairment.

An audiometric test is recommended in the case of:

• hearing loss gradually worsening,
• sudden hearing loss,
• tinnitus,
• vertigo or dizziness,
• when starting work or working in a noisy environment.
