What are exosomes?
Exosomes are microscopic particles released by cells that take part in cell-to-cell signalling. In aesthetic skin care, exosome-based products are used with the aim of supporting the skin's regeneration processes and improving its overall appearance. The properties of a specific preparation depend on its origin, composition and manufacturer.
What is PDRN?
PDRN, or polydeoxyribonucleotide, is a compound based on purified DNA fragments. In aesthetic procedures, products containing PDRN are used to support skin hydration, elasticity and regeneration processes. It is sometimes popularly called "salmon DNA", but PDRN is the more accurate term.

How is the procedure performed?
The first part of the procedure is microneedling. The chosen exosome or PDRN serum and soothing aftercare are then applied to the treated skin. Recovery is similar to standard microneedling: for a few days the skin may be red, feel dry or be more sensitive than usual.
The treatment course is planned individually. Often 3 treatments are performed at 4–6-week intervals.
